Based in Stowmarket, our academy supports up to 86 pupils aged between 7 and 16.
Acting Head of Academy
We offer support to pupils with complex or medical needs and those who have been permanently excluded from school.
The academy provides students with an inspiring curriculum delivered in high-quality newly refurbished classrooms, a sports hall, art and design technology room, science laboratory, construction room, motor mechanics workshops, orchard and garden.
Our aim is to transform the lives of children and young people for whom traditional teaching methods have not worked. We help our pupils develop the confidence, skills and knowledge to believe that they can be successful in their own lives.
You can find out about our admissions process on our academy website: https://apsuffolk.oliveacademies.org.uk/about-us/admissions
Our academy priorities for this academic year are:
- to deliver a broad and balanced curriculum accessible to all our pupils
- to offer Quality First Teaching to all pupils, allowing them access to high-calibre, inclusive teaching
- to create learning spaces that encourage, challenge and enable great learning and foster resilience.
Leaving his previous school was extremely hard for my son. But with the right level of support from Olive AP Academy – Suffolk and by working together, the hard work has paid off. I now have a happy child who goes into school with a smile and comes out with a smile.
