Our alternative provision academy based in Tilbury supports young people aged between 11 and 16, with up to 96 pupils on roll at any one time.
Our staff support young people who have been placed at the academy for a period of intervention work, following a permanent exclusion from a mainstream school. The academy also supports young people with medical needs.
Our purpose-built facility provides a rich learning environment, giving students access to computing suites, an outdoor gym, a music studio, hair and beauty salon and a multi-sports pitch.
Our aim is to transform the lives of children and young people for whom traditional teaching methods have not worked. We help our students develop the confidence, skills and knowledge to believe that they can be successful in their own lives.

Our academy priorities for this academic year:

- To ensure all students have positive attitudes and a strong commitment to their education
- That all staff receive focused and highly effective professional development.
Pupils behave well in lessons, enjoy class discussions and take pride in their work

...previously reluctant learners feel secure and are able to focus on their learning...
