Our three alternative provision (AP) academies in East London and East of England have all performed way above national averages for AP schools and pupil referral units in this year’s exams.
Exams results for 2019 from across the Trust tell the story of how strong leadership in our academies, continued improvements across the Trust, high quality teaching and an innovative curriculum are having a real impact.
This year’s results show that the children and young people we work with are leaving us with the qualifications they need to fulfil their ambitions and go on to apprenticeships and further education.
Mark Vickers, Chief Executive, Olive Academies said, “It is really encouraging to see that so many of our young people are now leaving us with a range of GCSE qualifications that they would never have thought possible a year or two ago. The Trust is now performing above, or well above, the national average for AP in most areas. This is only the start of our journey and I expect considerable continued improvements. We are determined that every young person we work with gain the qualifications and grades they want and so urgently need to transform their lives.”
