Olive Academies is a supportive and innovative place to work
"Our staff are amazing. Employee wellbeing is central to our work. We want our staff to support each other, to share best practice and most importantly enjoy the work they do with the children and young people in our academies"
Mark Vickers MBE, CEO
Our pioneering network of alternative provision academies are nurturing, supportive and inclusive communities which combine creative and engaging learning opportunities with a culture of respect. We want to work with people who care about removing barriers to learning for children and young people.
Our aim
Our aim is that all staff who work in our trust are part of a community which is values driven and which has children and young people at the centre of everything we do. We recognise that working in alternative provision academies and schools can be extremely enjoyable and fulfilling, but it can also prove to be challenging. Our academies are staffed by close and friendly teams who support each other on a day to day basis. Our trust leaders are experienced and understand what it's like - they are supportive and are always ready to offer advice, and also listen to feedback and ideas. The trust also makes sure that any staff who need it have access to supervision and mentoring.
What do Olive staff say?
