Mandeep is an experienced and passionate leader with a strong background across both mainstream and alternative provision settings. Her unwavering commitment to placing children and young people at the centre of her work consistently drives positive outcomes, enabling learners who have faced significant barriers to re-engage with education and achieve success.
With a wealth of experience spanning the primary and secondary sectors, Mandeep has played a pivotal role in shaping Havering’s curriculum approach and was instrumental in the successful establishment of the academy’s new primary outreach provision. Her classroom expertise, combined with her senior leadership experience in Olive’s Havering and Thurrock academies, continues to strengthen the quality of teaching and learning across the trust.
Mandeep holds a Master’s degree in Children’s Literature and brings specialist knowledge in curriculum and assessment, English and early reading, including phonics. A trauma-informed leader with high emotional intelligence, she works collaboratively with multiple agencies to ensure that every child has the opportunity to thrive.
Guided by the values of integrity, transparency and resilience, Mandeep’s professional goal is to help students reconnect with learning, opening doors to future education, employment and lifelong success.
