Who we are

Susan Hamilton is Director of Finance and Compliance at Olive Academies, providing strategic financial leadership and compliance assurance across the trust. Her role is central to ensuring the trust has the strong financial foundations, effective oversight and sustainable resources needed to deliver high-quality education and the best possible outcomes for children and young people.

A Chartered Accountant and accredited business adviser, Susan has extensive board-level and senior leadership experience across a diverse range of sectors. Since moving into education in 2018, she has held senior executive roles within multi-academy trusts, alongside experience as a trustee.

Susan is passionate about using strong financial management, effective governance and strategic leadership to create sustainable, impactful organisations. She is committed to ensuring resources are used responsibly and effectively, so that every possible investment supports Olive Academies’ core purpose of helping children and young people thrive.
