Generous grant awarded for new construction facility at Olive AP Academy - Nene Valley

We’re delighted to announce that the Wolfson Foundation has awarded almost £50,000 to create a dedicated construction skills facility for students at Olive AP Academy - Nene Valley.

The facility will offer students the opportunity to gain skills in core areas of construction and carpentry at our Nene Valley academy.

Olive AP Academy – Nene Valley joins three other academies (Suffolk, Havering and Thurrock) in offering construction as part of the curriculum.

We are absolutely thrilled to have received this incredibly generous grant from the Wolfson Foundation.

We strive to provide a broad curriculum and being able to offer vocational qualifications in carpentry and construction will be hugely beneficial to our students.

Being supported by a prestigious organisation such as the Wolfson Foundation is a real privilege and provides welcome validation for the important work taking place at Olive Academies to improve outcomes for marginalised children and young people.
